Wincanton a double winner at the HR Excellence Awards

Wincanton, a supply chain partner for UK business, is delighted to announce that our People Team have been named HR Team of the Year at the HR Excellence Awards. 

Our People Team were rewarded for developing an exceptional network of 20,300 colleagues who build resilient and responsive supply chains for our customers. 

Wincanton’s achievements in developing the next generation of supply chain talent, the investments we make in our people, and the vital role our People Team play in supporting our growth agenda, were also recognised by the judges. 

The prestigious panel of judges said they were ‘hugely impressed’ with the achievements of the Wincanton People team.

The judges also said that they ‘really liked the benefits to the business achieved by having a well-established people strategy’.

This is why we’re especially proud that our People Team, who support our colleagues to be their very best, have been recognised as the leading HR team in the UK at the HR Excellence Awards.

Furthermore, Ben Wrigley, Group Employee Relations Case Manager at Wincanton, was named HR Future Leader at the HR Excellence Awards for the impact he has made at Wincanton. 

Ben Wrigley joined Wincanton in July 2021 as Group Employee Relations Manager. Since joining he has driven a more strategic approach to Colleague Engagement across Wincanton.

The panel of judges said that Ben ‘is clearly built to be an inspirational leader’.
